What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Wolfrum Crossing Chiropractic website. It explains what information the website handles and which outside services it connects to. It does not describe how the office handles your health records. For that, see Your health information and HIPAA below.
What this website collects
The website has no contact form and no account or login system, so there is nowhere on the site to submit personal information.
The site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics, advertising or tracking pixels. The fonts, images and styles you see are served from the site itself, not from another company's servers.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel keeps standard server logs. These can include your IP address, your browser type and the pages you requested. The logs are kept for security and reliability.
Google Maps
The Contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When that page loads, Google may receive your IP address and may set cookies on your device. Google handles that information under Google's privacy policy. You can control cookies from other companies, such as Google, in your browser settings.
Online scheduling and new patient forms
The Book online and New patient forms buttons open MyPatientSite, a secure patient portal the practice uses. It is a separate website run by a third party. Information you enter there, such as your name, contact details, appointment requests and health history, goes to the practice and to the portal provider.
The portal has its own terms and policies, which apply while you use it. The practice handles patient health information as HIPAA requires.
Links to other websites
This site links to Facebook, Google Maps and other outside websites. Once you click, you are on their service, and their own privacy policies apply. The practice does not control what those services collect.
Email and phone
Email is not a secure channel. Please do not send medical details, such as symptoms, diagnoses or test results, by email. If you email the office, the practice receives your email address and the message you write. To talk about your health, call the office at 636-300-8089.
Your health information and HIPAA
If you are a patient, HIPAA also protects your health information. Ask the office for a copy of its Notice of Privacy Practices. It explains how your health information is used and protected in your care. This website policy does not replace that notice.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
The practice may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. The updated policy applies once it is posted here.
